Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of the MERQORA Shopify app. By installing or using MERQORA, you confirm that you are authorized to act for the connected Shopify store and agree to these terms.

Service availability

MERQORA is provided as a stable release. Features, availability, and supported workflows may change as the service evolves. No service-level commitment is included unless agreed separately in writing.

What MERQORA does

MERQORA reads permitted Shopify product data, presents rule-based store analyses, and can generate product-content suggestions when requested. Supported product changes require an explicit merchant action before they are sent to Shopify. MERQORA does not independently operate your store or guarantee commercial, search-ranking, or conversion outcomes.

Your responsibilities

• Keep access to your Shopify account and MERQORA secure.
• Review AI suggestions for accuracy, legality, brand fit, and product safety before applying them.
• Ensure that product claims, trademarks, descriptions, and other store content comply with applicable law and third-party rights.
• Do not use MERQORA to create deceptive, unlawful, harmful, medical, or legal claims, or to interfere with the service.

AI limitations

AI-generated content may be incomplete or inaccurate. MERQORA uses structured validation and safety instructions, but those safeguards do not replace merchant review or professional advice. You remain responsible for content you approve and publish.

Shopify and third-party services

MERQORA depends on Shopify, OpenAI, and infrastructure providers. Their services are governed by their respective terms. MERQORA is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or account decisions outside our control.

Fees

MERQORA Pro costs USD 29 per month and includes a seven-day free trial. Shopify presents the applicable billing terms and obtains approval on its hosted plan page before access is granted. Shopify processes the recurring app charge; MERQORA does not use an external payment method. Merchants remain responsible for their Shopify plan and other third-party costs.

Intellectual property

MERQORA and its software, design, and branding remain the property of the service operator and its licensors. You retain responsibility for your store data and product content. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, revocable right to use MERQORA for your connected store.

Availability and termination

You may stop using MERQORA by uninstalling it. We may restrict or end access when necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or operation of the service. Where practical, we will use the support contact associated with your account to communicate material changes.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or specific commercial results. MERQORA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of unreviewed AI content, merchant-approved store changes, or unavailable third-party services. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
